5 Things You Need to Know This Week

1.  Mayfield Village Council will meet at 8 p.m. today at the Civic Center, 6622 Wilson Mills Road. There will also be a Finance Committee meeting at 7:30 p.m.

2. Mayfield schools has a flower and plant sale through May 27 at the Gates Mills Environmental Education Center, 390 County Line Road. For information, call 440-995-7550.

3. Highland Heights City Council's Committee of the Whole will meet at 8 p.m. Tuesday. Items on the agenda include the gazebo, park building and park entrance.

4. The Highland Heights Community Day Committee will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Council Chambers, 5827 Highland Road. Community Day will be Saturday, Aug. 6, at Highland Heights Community Park, 5905 Wilson Mills Road. 5. The Tri-City Consortium on Aging's Senior Day will be on Friday at the Highland Heights Community Center, 5827 Highland Road. Lunch reservations were due May 11, but you can still join after lunch for entertainment by the Forever Young Tappers at noon.
