Buckle Up For Burgers and Eat Free at Sonic
Seat belt users given coupons for free burgers.

The national Click It or Ticket seat belt campaign will kick off by rewarding people with free burgers for buckling up.
From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, May 17, free burger coupons will be passed out to all car occupants spotted wearing seat belts when entering the parking lot at , 5836 Mayfield Rd., Mayfield Heights. The Sonic in Parma also will be participating at the same time and police officers will be at both locations helping to deliver the burgers.
In connection with Click It or Ticket, the Cuyahoga Safe Communities Coalition will be running a campaign called "It's OK 2 Nag … About Seat Belts." Any woman who submits a photo of her man buckled up in a vehicle will have a chance to will a $500 Legacy gift card for herself and a baseball experience for him.
"In 2010, men made up only 48 percent of Ohio's licensed drivers, but 74 percent of all drivers killed in crashes. That's because men are far less likely than women to buckle up," said Sgt. Ken Gillissie of the Parma Police Department.
