Cellphones Stolen in Break-in at Highland Heights Store

Several cellphones were stolen in a break-in at Verizon Wireless, 6343 Wilson Mills Road.

An alarm was triggered at 2:18 a.m. May 28 and police arrived to find the front door to the business open. A pry bar that was used to open the door was found at the scene, but the suspects were gone.

"There were gone within a couple of minutes," Detective Bob Dowdell of the Police Department said.

He other similar break-ins have occurred in the area, but he would not provide details because the case is under investigation.
