Drunk Man on Ground & Concerned Fast-Food Manager: Mayfield Heights Police Blotter

The following information was supplied by the Mayfield Heights Police Department.

Incidents reported June 7:

Attention needed for bottle rockets: A woman on Sunset Road requested special attention from Mayfield Heights Police on June 7 because she believed somebody had been targeting her house.
She told police someone fired bottle rockets into her home the previous night. Asked if she thought she knew who might have done it, she mentioned a small group of who came to her door to solicit donations for a debate team. She thinks she angered the boys when she "brushed them off," according to the police report.
The bottle rockets did not cause damage to the home.
Sonic at risk: A manager at Sonic Drive-In asked for extra patrol last week after her keys were stolen.
The keys were among the items taken from her home in another city. She told police the restaurant needed extra patrol until the locks could be changed.
According to the police report, the manager had reason to believe that the person who stole the keys knew exactly what they were for, though she didn't think the person would have known the code for the alarm.
Drunk at T-Mobile: Police received a call from T-Mobile on Mayfield Road regarding a drunk man who had been asking people for money in front of the store around 5 p.m. on June 7.
By the time of the call to police, the man was reportedly laying on the ground in front of the store. A responding officer arrested him for public intoxication.
