Gates Mills Resident Named Distinguished Physician of the Year

Dr. Arun Gupta of Gates Mills was named Distinguished Physician of the Year by the Association of Indian Physicians of Northern Ohio.

Each year, the organization recognizes a doctor for contributions to the medical profession, service to humanity and achievements in research. Gupta received the honor for excelling in patient care, improving quality and patient safety, and exemplifying the art of medicine.

Gupta specializes in internal medicine and practices at South Pointe Hospital in Warrensville Heights. He also serves as the hospital's vice president of Medical Affairs.

AIPNO is a nonprofit organization founded in 1983 to bring together the physicians of Indian origin practicing in northern Ohio and has 300 members.
