Highland Heights City Council Meeting Tonight

City Council will meet at 8 p.m. today at City Hall, 5827 Highland Road. The agenda includes a motion to reject bids for the city gazebo and site improvement project and to seek new bids.

Also on the agenda are ordinances to place charter amendments on the fall ballot, including a change that would increase council terms from two years to four years.

Council is scheduled to be on recess in August, but may reconvene in a special meeting to consider rezoning issues for the November ballot. Owners of Highland Medical Building and the former Catalano's site have expressed interest in rezoning the properties and rezoning issues in Highland Heights must be approved by voters.
