Statement: I have thoroughly enjoyed my first term on City Council. I have learned much and hope to be able to put this knowledge to use in my second term. In today’s tough economy our task will be to continue to provide the services that our residents have come to expect with the same or reduced revenue resources. With this said, I see the following areas of concern that must be addressed in the next term:
•   An increase in infrastructure repairs which have been neglected the past few years.
•   A more serious look at regionalization opportunities that can be implemented which will reduce our operating costs while maintaining or improving city services.
•   A viable five-year capital plan for all of the City Parks
•   Work with the newly reconfigured Economic Development Committee to address our vacant and undeveloped business properties.
•   Update the city website in order to make it more user-friendly and provide up to date information to the city residents.
