Highland Heights Service Crews Picking Up Storm Remnants

Workers will be collecting brush from residents the rest of the week

Service Director Thom Evans said a storm that passed through the city around noon on Monday left a lot of debris and took down some large trees, including three in the city's park.

"It passed through pretty quick," Evans said. "There were some downed limbs and power lines."

The storm seemed to especially hit the area around Wilson Mills Road, he said. "It took down about a half dozen large trees from the city park to the library."

Evans said crews will be out picking up tree branches and shrubs.

"We will be out doing an extended brush collection for the next couple of days," he said.
