Highland Heights Swears in New Patrolman
Mark Stefanac has been a reserve officer.

Mayor Scott Coleman swore in new Patrolman Mark Stefanac at a recent City Council Committee of the Whole meeting.
Stefanac was hired as a reserve officer on June 23, 2010 and Police Chief James Cook praised his work.
"He's done an outstanding job for us," Cook said. "We're very happy to have him."

Cook said Stefanac placed second on the patrolman examination. Stefanac is a graduate of Kirtland High School and Lakeland Community College.
He also is a certified self-defense instructor and teaches martial arts at Relson Gracie Jui-Jitsu Academy in Willoughby.
