Highland Heights Ward 1 Meeting Is on Wednesday

Highland Heights Councilwoman Cathy Murphy will hold the annual Ward 1 Coffee and Conversation at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Community Center, 5827 Highland Road.

Murphy said she made a pledge to conduct the meetings when she ran for office in 2004 and uses the forum to stay in contact with constituents.

"I have the meeting in the spring so we have our budget and I can talk about our financial situation," she said.

After providing an update about city matters, she will hear comments and questions from residents.

"I'm your voice. I need to hear from you," she said. "This is a grassroots government – that's our charge."
