Hillcrest Hospital Offering Free Stroke Risk Assessments

Staff from the Cleveland Clinic Neurological Institute at will be offering free stroke risk assessments from noon to 4 p.m. Thursday in the atrium.

Every 40 seconds, someone in the United States has a stroke and every four minutes someone dies, hospital officials said.

Visitors can learn more about stroke risk, assessment and prevention.

Free blood sugar, blood pressure, pulse assessment and body mass index measurements will be taken to develop a stroke risk score based on personal risk factors.
