Hillcrest Hospital Opens Expanded Boutique for Women
In Support of Women first opened in January 2010.

A Hillcrest Hospital boutique for women enters its third year by getting a newly expanded space.
In Support of Women, located in the North Campus building, serves as a convenience for women in breastfeeding classes.
"The main goal of the store is to support moms who just had babies," said Tracy Park, a registered nurse and manager of the adult education department.
"We used to have a retail space in the main hospital years ago. A little over a year ago we opened a space next door (to the new store) that we shared with the oncology group."
Stephanie Sentle runs the small store, which carries breastfeeding supplies such as Ameda and Medela breast pumps at a discounted rate. The store also carries toys, baby socks and more novelty-type items.
The boutique is open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. weekdays. The store also is open for weekend breast feeding classes and during support group meetings. Deliveries also can be made to rooms of new moms at the hospital.
Park said moms appreciate being able to save time and money by shopping on-site when they come for classes.
"If you need supplies, you have someone who is an expert to talk to," she added.
