Kemper House to Break Ground on Highland Heights Location

The new memory care facility will include 54 suites and is scheduled to be completed in about 10 months.

Kemper House, a residential are facility for patients with Alzheimer's and dementia, announced plans to break ground on a Highland Heights facility some time this month.

The new memory care facility will be on Golf View Lane, off Bishop Road and adjacent to StoneWater Golf Club, according to a statement from Kemper House. The site will include 54 private and "semi-private" suites.

Other features will include dining, community and living rooms, full kitchen, beauty parlor and an enclosed, private courtyard.

The Toledo-based Douglas Co. is building the new Kemper House. The construction schedule calls for about 10 months of building. Other Northeast Ohio locations are in Mentor, Strongsville and Olmsted Falls.
