Materion Corporation CEO to Ring NY Stock Exchange Closing Bell

Mayfield Heights-based Materion Corporation's CEO and president, Richard J. Hipple, will ring the closing bell at the New York Stock Exchange at 4 p.m. today to mark the company's name change and new stock symbol MTRN, according to a company press release.

Hipple will be joined at the podium by the company's senior leadership team.

Materion Corporation, a producer of advanced materials and services providing technology solutions to customers in several industries, employs more than 2,500 people worldwide and serves customers in more than 50 countries. The company had been known as Brush Engineered Materials Inc.
