Mattress Firm to Open Two Mayfield Heights Stores
The stores should be open by mid-November on Mayfield and Lander roads.
It's rare that a retailer opens two locations at in the same city in the same season, but Mattress Firm is making that happen in Mayfield Heights.
The company announced this week that it is opening seven Northeast Ohio locations, including two in Mayfield Heights. The company didn't specific dates for the openings, but said that all stores will be open by mid-November.
Mattress Firm spokeswoman Tammy Friedeck said one location will be at 6510 Mayfield Road and the other at 1475 Lander Road.
The Mayfield Road site will serve as a "standard showroom" with about 3,000 square feet. On Lander, Mattress Firm will open a "supercenter" that will house more inventory in its 11,000 square feet.
Mattress Firm carries 55 different models of by manufacturers like Sealy, Serta and Simmons, as well as specialty mattress from companies like Tempur-Pedic.
