City Council will meet at 7:30 p.m. today at City Hall, 6154 Mayfield Road. Items on the agena include a ground sign at Golden Gate Plaza and a Sonic Drive-In Restaurant planned on Mayfield Road.
Council also has a resolution commending Alvin Schmitt on his retirement from the police department.
Prior to the meeting, there will be a 7:15 p.m. public hearing regarding rezoning the property at 1085 SOM Center Road. The Mayfield City School District plans to use the property for a parking lot.
