Mayfield Heights Honors Commission on Aging Volunteer

city officials presented Emma Kinkopf with a resolution commending her for service on the Commission on Aging.
Kinkopf, who joined the commission on Jan. 1, 2002, served through July 31.
Fellow member Tina Rucci was not at Monday's council meeting to see Kinkopf honored, but sent a letter that was read by Mayor Gregory Costabile.
"You have been the foundation of the senior dances and will truly be missed," Rucci wrote.
Costabile added that Kinkopf had long served as chair of the 50+ dance committee and worked hard to ensure that the best interests of senior citizens was served.
"I've enjoyed working on it," Kinkopf said. She added that her husband was the founder of the commission.
