Mayfield Heights Police Arrest Juveniles for Car Break-Ins
Police remind not to leave valuables in view

Detective Joe Leskovec of the Mayfield Heights Police Department said police arrested three juveniles for breaking into cars at 4:30 a.m. Friday on Gaslight Drive, which is south of Mayfield Middle School off of SOM Center Road.
Leskovec said a patrolman spotted and arrested the suspects, who may also be responsible for car break-ins reported in the past week on Elmwood and Mayfield Ridge roads.
In both of those incidents, the cars were left unlocked in the driveway. Leskovec reminded residents to lock cars parked outside and to not leave anything of value in the car that can be viewed from outside.
Also, all break-ins have occurred in late night/early morning hours and Leskovec said residents should call police if they see someone walking around driveways at those times.
