Mayfield Heights Retains URS for Engineer Services
The firm will provide monthly and project-to-project engineering services

Mayfield Heights will bring URS Corp. back as its engineering services provider for another year at virtually the same cost.
An engineer from URS, one of the world's largest engineering and design firms, will receive a $2,100-per-month retainer for attendance at various council, zoning and legislative meetings, periodic reports, site inspections, project budgets and technical services requested by the mayor. That amount is fixed, while another payment tier would paid on a project-to-project basis.
"The monthly retainer barely increases, and there is a slight increase in the rate for an inspector — $2," Mayor Anthony DiCicco said. "Other than that, the contract is pretty much the same (as last year's)."
