Mayfield Schools Earns Clean Audit & Award With Distinction

Mayfield City Schools earned a clean audit and an Auditor of State Award With Distinction.

Mayfield won the award for a timely filing with no findings for recovery, material citations, material weaknesses, significant deficiencies or questioned costs, according to a press release from the state.

"While a school's primary concern is its students, it must also remain accountable to taxpayers," Ohio Auditor Dave Yost said. "Accurate record keeping is clearly a priority for Mayfield City Schools, and I am proud to present this award to the district."

Yost recently presented the award Mayfield Schools Treasurer Scott Snyder and his staff.
