Mayfield Village Has New Watercolor Class
First four-week session starts Thursday

Learn to paint watercolors in a new class offered in Mayfield Village.
A four-week session starts from 9 a.m. to noon Thursday at the Mayfield Village Community Room, 6621 Wilson Mills Road. Cost is $35 for Mayfield City School District residents and $40 for nonresidents.
"This is totally different than what we've done before," Mayfield Village Human Services Director Eunice Kalina said.
Florence Smith, an art teacher who has won awards at the Gates Mills Art Show and elsewhere, will lead the class, designed for beginners.
"She claims you don't have to be able to draw," Kalina said. "This is for people who are interested in art. Budding artists."
There are still some openings for the first four-week session. There will also be sessions in May and June. To sign up, call the Mayfield Village Human Services Department at 440-919-2332.
