Mayfield Village Memorial Day Ceremony Is Today

The 2011 Memorial Day Ceremony will be at 1 p.m. today at , 615 SOM Center Road.

Jim Mason will serve as master of ceremonies for the program, which will feature music by the Blue Ridge Saga and the Cleveland Letter Carriers Band. There will be a color guard and presention of the POW & MIA flag and service flags.

Speakers will be Mayor Bruce Rinker and John Bindas and John B. Kosek Sr. of CVW Post 1959. There wil also be a benediction led by Deacon Leo McNulty of St. Francis of Assisi.

Event sponsors are Heinen's of Mayfield Village, Costco of Mayfield Heights, Dave's Market of Richmond Heights, Giant Eagle of Mayfield Heights, Boy Scout Troop 289 of Western Lake County and the Greater Lake County Young Marines.
