Mayfield Village Offers AARP Safe Driving Class

Course is for drivers ages 50 and older

Mayfield Village Human Services Department, in conjunction with AARP, is offering a safe driving class for licensed drivers ages 50 and older from 12:30-4:30 p.m. Aug. 12 at the Mayfield Village Community Room, 6621 Wilson Mills Road.

The class does not involve driving. Participants can brush up on driving knowledge and can result in lower car insurance rates.

Cost is $12 for AARP members and $14 for nonmembers. Participants must present an AARP membership card to receive the discount.

Deadline to register is Aug. 8 or when the maximum of 30 students is reached.

Participants may bring a sandwich for lunch. Beverages will be provided.
