Moms Talk Q & A: Fun Area Activities
Hillcrest Moms Council talks about ways to entertain the family

Each week the council will answer a question on parenthood posed to them by readers or another member of council.
With so many students either on spring break or about to have some time off, this week the Moms Council suggests family activities in the area.
Kelly Brindle: When the sun is shining my kids and I have several go-to places nearby for fun. Oakville and Mayfield Heights parks are excellent stops for fun with the kids, slides, swings and climbers will keep them busy.
We’ve also got the North Chagrin Nature Center, Squire's Castle, and many hiking/biking/walking/horse riding paths about 3.5 miles north on SOM Center Road.
When it’s rainy, my kids and I head to the McDonald's Playplace in Wickliffe on Euclid Avenue, we have fun meeting new people. We’ve recently joined the Mayfield Heights Recreation Center, which we haven’t fully explored yet, but I am sure we will have fun!
We also have a membership to the Great Lakes Science Center this year. We alternate between the the Science Center, Natural History Museum and the Zoo. I know there are more things to do in and around Cleveland, I’ve only touched on a few; tell us what you do with your kids for fun?
