This week, we select five area nonprofits that are making a difference in the community. This list is a bit biased, mainly because all  of these nonprofits have been featured in articles posted on Hillcrest Patch. That's how we know about the good work they are doing in the community.

However, there are certainly other worthwhile nonprofits. If you know of one that deserves recognition, let us know.
