Police Blotter: Adult Son Told It's Time to Leave Nest

A Kenwood Drive man called at 12:13 p.m. Aug. 14 about problems with an adult son. They were making threats at each other and the man wanted the 23-year-old son to leave and not come back. Police talked to the son, who packed up his things, and told him to call police if he needed to go back and pick up anything else.

An Eastgate Drive resident called police at 9:29 p.m. Aug. 15 because three small dogs were running loose and their owner left for work. Police checked the residence and a woman was sleeping on the couch. The dogs were let in and the homeowner was cited for animal at large.

A man wanted police to stop by his mother's SOM Center Road house at 6:52 a.m. Aug. 13 because he was moving things and something didn't seem right. Police said the man found golf balls on the property and thought someone was hitting them at the house.

A Worton Park Drive man returned home from work at 4:38 a.m. Aug. 13 and saw a woman in her 40s going through mailboxes. She was driving a blue Honda CRV. Police checked the area and did not see the car.
