Police Blotter: Angry Man Seeks Video Revenge

A man was videotaping and harassing employees outside a school building on SOM Center Road at 4:17 p.m. Aug. 2, a caller reported. The man was upset because he couldn't register his child in school because he could not prove he has custody. He was doing a freelance video on the school system. Police told him to stay on the sidewalk.

The clerk at a Golden Gate Boulevard hotel called police at 1:28 a.m. Aug. 4 because a man who was either intoxicated or just acting strange was walking around inside the hotel. The man left and police were unable to find him.

A woman told police her son was at Oakville Park waiting to fight at 11:28 p.m. Aug. 3. He was highly irate and due for his medication. Police caught up with him at Mayfield Ridge and Oakville and took him to Hillcrest Hospital.

A Mayfield Ridge Road resident called at 11:34 a.m. Aug. 3 and said a neighbor was panhandling money off of other neighbors, mostly elderly people.

A Temple Avenue resident called police at 8:11 p.m. Aug. 2 because there was a skunk in the yard for 30 minutes. The animal would get up, walk in circles and fall over again. Service department employees were sent to pick up the skunk.

Two females grabbed a tip jar and fled at 3:26 p.m. Aug. 2 at a Mayfield Road fast-food restaurant. Police said the jar had about $3 in it.
