Police Blotter: Bags Left for Charity Stolen on Williamsburg Drive

A Williamsburg Drive woman called police on April 18 and said she and her neighbors put out bags of clothing and household items for charity. When the Easter Seals volunteers came to pick up the bags, there were already gone from seven of the 11 residences.

A caller at 8:39 p.m. April 18 reported an erratic driver swerving and driving through red lights in the eastbound lanes of Wilson Mills Road. Police stopped the orange Dodge Charger and arrested the driver, who was cited for driving under the influence.

A Stanwell Drive man called police at 8:37 a.m. April 15 and said someone wrote on his car overnight. Within 30 minutes, two other Stanwell residents reported similar incidents.

A Highland Road woman found credit cards in her bushes on April 14. The credit cards belonged to another Highland resident, who had his wallet stolen out of an unlocked car overnight.
