Police Blotter: Barrels Were Causing Backups on Mayfield

Police were told at 2:37 p.m. Sept. 3 that the city's service director called the supervisor for construction on Mayfield Road and advised him to remove the barrels until the holiday weekend was over because traffic was not flowing smoothly.
A suspicious man was near the bocce courts in the city park at 2:06 a.m. Sept. 3. Police told him the park was closed and he walked home.
A man told police he was involved in a road rage incident at 10:38 p.m. Sept. 2 at Mayfield Road and Genesee Avenue. He said the other driver got out of a van and walked around the caller's car. However, he got back into his van when he realized police were being called.
A caller at 2:25 a.m. Sept. 2 said her girlfriend would not get get out or away from the caller's Ford Explorer. The caller said she was going to sleep in the truck because she did not want to drive back to Parma. Police told the other woman to go in her house and she would be arrested for disorderly conduct if police returned.
