Police Blotter: Cannon Reported Stolen from Garage Sale
Information supplied by the Mayfield Village Police Department.

A cannon was reported stolen from a garage sale at 10:28 a.m. May 13 on Norman Lane. The suspects were two men in their 30s driving an old, beat-up black sedan. Police said the cannon was not full-size and was a novelty item.
A resident came to the police station at 8:37 p.m. May 13 to report that marijuana plants that had been in the park the previous day were no longer there. Police said the man has bipolar disorder and was off his medication, but was otherwise OK.
A groundhog was seen under a back deck at 10:39 a.m. May 14 at a Woodlane Drive house. The homeowner and animal control were notified about the situation.
A resident flagged down an officer at 8:13 p.m. May 13 on Norman Lane and said he found a set of brass angels.
A man was sleeping in a car at 4:19 a.m. May 13 on SOM Center Road. He told police that he's in a band and lives in Akron. He was going to see his mother for Mother's Day and didn't want to drive all the way home.
A dog, possibly a husky, was wandering at 5:23 p.m. May 11 on Bramblewood Lane, a caller reported. The dog's owner was told he better contain the animal
