Police Blotter: Car Abandoned in Domestic Dispute

A caller at 7:08 p.m. Jan. 4 reported almost hitting a disabled car on Wilson Mills Road underneath the Interstate 271 bridges. The car did not have lights on. Police said the car was involved in a domestic dispute in Mayfield Village and the woman driving it was seen walking away westbound.
A caller at 9:52 p.m. Jan. 3 suspected that the driver of a white Lincoln was intoxicated. Police watched the car and said there were no violations.
A Locklie Drive resident called at 12:13 p.m. Jan. 3 after she heard a door from the garage beep and thought someone might be in the home. Police said the caller's father had been dropped off at the residence and she didn't know.
A tractor-trailer broke down and was blocking all lanes of traffic at 1:52 p.m. Jan. 3 on Alpha Drive. The truck was moved to a northbound lane at 2:16 p.m. and removed from the area at 4:50 p.m.
A woman said a man hit her car from behind at 3:25 p.m. Jan. 3 and continued southbound on Brainard Road. She said he was driving a black Pontiac with four doors.
An Alden Road man said at 10:27 a.m. Jan. 2 that his mailbox was damaged by a city plow and it was the second time it has happened.
A man was walking inside a house under construction at 2:42 p.m. Jan. 1 on Halton Trail. He said he was looking at new construction because he is also building a house.
