Police Blotter: Card Game Was Spilling Over to Neighbor's House

A Fairhaven Road man called police at 5:32 p.m. June 5 and said a neighbor was having a card game and at least seven guests at the game walked into his house.
A man said he went to pick up his girlfriend at 3:58 a.m. June 5 at Lander Road and Ridgebury Boulevard and was being confronted by a resident. Police said the matter was resolved and all parties left the area.
A 16-year-old girl had an altercation with an employee at 8:47 p.m. June 4 at a Mayfield Road fast-food restaurant. The girl's mother picked her up and told police she was going to talk to the restaurant's manager.
A security guard at a Golden Gate Plaza business had several people tell him on June 4 about a man in a red and pink checkered shirt who was acting strangely in the parking lot. Police were unable to find the man.
A woman called police at 5:45 p.m. June 4 and said she was in an altercation and a man got out of his car and starting hitting her car in the parking lot of a Mayfield Road business. She said she would go to the police station to fill out a statement.
A woman was caught shoplifting at 4:10 p.m. May 4 at Old Navy, 1533 Golden Gate Blvd. She was cited for misdemeanor petty theft and released. She was also informed that she was wanted by Linndale police, which asked that she be told about the warrant.
A large fight was reported at 2:55 a.m. June 4 in the parking for of Marsol Towers Apartments. A crowd dispersed as officers arrived. While officers were there, a caller complained about a loud party at the same building. Officers knocked, but no one answered the door. Police said officers would follow up the complaint with the building manager in the morning.
