Police Blotter: Cow on the Loose
The latest news from the Gates Mills Police Department

• On June 29 at approximately 6:34 a.m. the Gates Mills Police Department got a call about a loose cow on Battles Road. An officer went to the area and found the bovine, and it was successfully reunited with its Chesterland owner.
• On July 1, a West Hill Drive resident called to report a female at his residence asking suspicious questions. Officers found the woman who stated she had just moved to the Mayfield Heights area and was out researching potential homes for sale in Gates Mills.
• An instructor from the Gates Mills Environmental Center called to report a break-in at the County Line Road facility on July 2. Officers met with the complainant who said sometime in the past several days someone forced entry into the facility. The incident is currently under investigation by the Gates Mills Police Department.

• A Daisy’s Wood Lane resident called police on July 2 regarding an ongoing property line dispute between himself and his neighbor. An officer spoke with both parties and told them that the issue was a civil matter.
