Police Blotter: Crash Sends Two Drivers to the Hospital

A 911 caller reported an accident at 10:39 a.m. May 14 on Brigham Road. Two cars were involved and both drivers were taken to Hillcrest Hospital. One of the drivers, a 54-year-old woman from Burton, was cited for failing to maintain reasonable control of her vehicle.

An officer stopped a driver for speeding at 1:58 a.m. May 14 on Mayfield Road. The 49-year-old man from Saline, MI, had illegal drugs. He was charged with excessive speed, possession of drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and trafficking in drugs. 

An Old Mill Road resident called police at 11:17 a.m. May 11 about credit card fraud. She said an unknown person tried to use her card to make a purchase. However, the business called her and the transaction was not completed.
