Police Blotter: Customers Ignores Requests to Pay for Order

A food delivery service employee brought an order to a hotel guest at 10:11 p.m. July 31 on Beta Drive and called police because the customer's credit card was declined and the man was not answering his phone. Police told the caller that it was a civil matter. However, an officer did not on the suspect's hotel room door and no one answered.
Someone knocked backed into a speed limit sign and knocked it over on Aug. 1 on Wildwood Trail.
A Wilson Mills Road man called police at 7:20 p.m. July 31 and said a man at his house asked for a ride to Memphis Avenue. The caller said he didn't know the man, but allowed him to use the phone. Police would not give the man a ride to Memphis, but took him to the police station so he could make more calls.
An officer on the way to work found a dog sitting in the middle of Wilson Mills Road at 6:36 a.m. July 31 and brought him to the police station. The gray-and-black-spotted puppy was released to animal control.
A Ridgebury Boulevard resident called police at 3:17 p.m. July 30 and reported having a dog that belonged to a neighbor. They had the dog many times in the past and wanted police to take it back this time so they didn't have to speak to the owner.
