Police Blotter: Doctor Misses Tea Time Due to Thief

Things were reported missing from a doctor's office at 8:35 a.m. March 21 on SOM Center Road. The missing items were two letters and a tin of tea, along with brewing instructions. The doctor decided not to file a report.

A woman said she was working March 20 at a SOM Center Road store and a man used vulgar language in calling her a liberal. She said the manager spoke to the man, but she didn't know the outcome.

A caller at 7:28 p.m. March 19 said cars have been speeding down Zorn Lane on Saturday nights and she thought they might be drag racing.

A garbage truck was reported on fire at 12:45 p.m. March 18 in Highland Heights and the fire department was asked to respond. However, Highland Heights said the truck was in Willoughby Hills.

An employee at a Beta Drive business came to the station at 12:49 p.m. March 17 because she broke up a fight between clients and one of the combatants was threatening her.
