Police Blotter: Driver Cited After Hitting Utility Pole

An accident was reported at 12:28 a.m. July 5 on Battles Road, where a car hit a utility pole. A 19-year-old Mayfield Heights man was cited for failure to maintain reasonable control of his car.

Police were called at 7:15 p.m. July 4 about a domestic disturbance on Berkshire Road. Officers spoke to a marired couple who said they had a verbal disagreement and further police involvement was not needed.

A 911 caller at 5:18 p.m. July 9 reported an accident on Mayfield Road. There were no injuries and both cars were able to be driven from the scene.
