Police Blotter: Driver Has Trouble Getting Things Turned Around

A caller said she was going the wrong way heading into oncoming traffic at 8:05 a.m. May 2 under the bridges on Wilson Mills Road. She was stuck in traffic and said the motorists were not letting her get turned around. Police helped the 17-year-old girl get out of traffic and on her way.

Gunshots were reported in the area of SOM Center Road at 8:43 p.m. May 5. A resident told police her children were setting off bottle rockets. They were told not to do it again.

Children were playing paintball at 7:40 p.m. May 7 in a cemetery on Wilson Mills Road. Police talked to the participants.

Highland Heights police called at 9:19 a.m. May 8 to relay complaints about chunks of cement in traffic lanes on Wilson Mills Road. Police said the problem stems from a cement patch that is breaking up and the Ohio Department of Transportation was notified. At least three cars had flat tires due to the deep hole.

A homeowner on Ravine Drive heard rifle fire behind his house at 11:52 a.m. May 2. A resident on Echo said some trees fell down.
