Police Blotter: Driver Said She Sped Up Because Someone Was Following Her

Mayfield Village police said a blue Toyota Camry was being driven erratically at 9:36 p.m. Feb. 8 on Wilson Mills Road. The driver told police that she increased her speed because she thought someone was following her.

A woman called at 7:15 p.m. Feb. 8 to report that four previous renters from Bonnie Lane were making threats on Franklin Boulevard. The suspects left Highland Heights and Mayfield Heights police sent units to the Bonnie Lane address.

A Highland Road resident called at 3:39 p.m. Feb. 8 and said someone had been knocking on her garage door between 3-4 a.m. for four or five nights in a row. She wanted police to check her house around that time.

A Dornach Lane resident called Feb. 7 and wanted police to check on a neighbor because he hadn't picked up papers and cars in the drive had not moved for more than a week.
