Police Blotter: Driver Who Killed Dog Wants Owner to Pay for Damage

Information supplied by the Mayfield Village Police Department

A SOM Center Road man came to the police station at 11:54 a.m. June 18 to report an accident in front of his home. He said his dog was hit and killed by a car and the driver was claiming that the resident was responsible for damage to the car.

A Metro Park Drive man called police at 6:30 a.m. June 20 and said his car had been ransacked. The only thing missing was change.

Paintings were found June 18 on a tunnel on SOM Center Road. The service department was contact to remove the paintings.

A Village Trail resident called at 3:08 p.m. June 18 because she is not allowed to speak to her neighbor due to an ongoing problem. She wanted to know what he was doing near her property line. Police checked and said the man was removing tree stumps and was well within his property line.
