Police Blotter: Drivers Caught Without Licenses and With Warrants

A 46-year-old Chagrin Falls woman was stopped for speeding at 2:46 p.m. Sept. 27 on Mayfield Road. Police found her driver's license was suspended and there was a warrant for her out of Solon. She was issued a citation for speeding, no driver's license and driving while under suspension and released to the Solon Police Department.

A caller said a bicycle rider was causing a hazard at 6:59 p.m. Sept. 29 on Mayfield Road. An officer took the 49-year-old Cleveland woman to the intersection of Mayfield and SOM Center roads.

A broken down car was reported at 5 p.m. Sept. 30 on Mayfield Road. An officer was sent and learned that the driver, a 27-year-old Cleveland man, was wanted in Maple Heights. He also had a suspended driver's license. He was charged with driving while under suspension and no driver's license and released to the Maple Heights Police Department.

Loud music and yelling was reported at 12:01 a.m. Oct. 1 on SOM Center Road. An officer spoke to a resident who was having a party and they agreed to turn the music down.
