Police Blotter: Girls on Scavenger Hunt Run Around Lot

The manager of a Wilson Mills Road residence called police at 10:51 p.m. June 30 because of the suspicious actions of girls were jumped out of a Buick Century and ran around the parking lot. Police said Mayfield Heights police told them the girls might have been part of a scavenger hunt.
A woman was upset at 9:39 p.m. July 4 because fireworks were being set off in the street and she had to wait before driving by at Muirfield Drive and Aberdeen Boulevard. Police talked to a resident about the complaint.
There was a dispute at 11:37 a.m July 3 at a pavilion at the city park among two parties who each claimed to have a permit. Police said a resolution was worked out and a mistake might had been made at city hall.
Someone took discarded Christmas lights from a trash bin at 5:08 p.m. July 1 at a Miner Road address. Police said there were many Christmas items in the trash and there was a sign requesting the items be left alone.
A bicycle was stolen at the city park on Wilson Mills Road at 8:40 p.m. June 30. The bike was found in a lot at the park.
