Police Blotter: House Guest Steals from Man

A Cranbrook Drive man said at 8:58 p.m. March 22 that his residence was broken into by a woman he let spend the night. She gave back some of the stolen items, but not all, he said. Police arrested the woman for burglary.
A tow truck was called for a disabled mail truck at 10:04 a.m. March 23 at Highland and Bishop roads.
A woman came into the station at 10:20 a.m. March 23 to pay a fine on her warrant and the warrant hadn't been entered yet. She paid the $215 fine.
A caller at 12:35 p.m. March 21 said she saw a man walked up to various houses on Millridge Road. The man left the area in an older model white Chevrolet. Police checked the area and no houses appeared to have been tampered with. However, they were unable to find the suspect.
A power company truck was blocking traffic at 9:01 a.m. March 18 at Miner and Wilson Mills roads while workers were making repairs. Police checked and said access was tight, but cones were in place and the road was open.
A North Applecross resident reported at 4:33 p.m. March 18 that his house had been egged overnight.
