Police Blotter: Injured Deer Eludes Police

A Lowell Drive resident reported at 1:16 p.m. Feb. 13 that there was an injured deer in his yard. An officer spotted two deer and both ran off when he approached.

If there was a party Feb. 12 on East Glengary, it ended just in time for the host to avoid police trouble. A caller reported underage drinking at 10:42 p.m., but all was quiet when police checked.

A Gretna Green Drive resident called at 10:16 a.m. Feb. 12 because three people were going door-to-door walking through the neighborhood and she didn't want to answer her door. Police checked and the trio were Jehovah Witnesses. That information was relayed to the caller.

A man driving southbound on Interstate 271 at 2:13 p.m. Feb. 11 said a car cut him off and caused him to spin out near Wilson Mills Road and his car was stuck.

The driver of a car went through the windshield in a two-car accident at 8:14 p.m. Feb. 10 at Radford Drive and Wilson Mills Road. He was bleeding from the head and was taken to Hillcrest Hospital.
