Police Blotter: Injured Deer Spotted in Yards
Information supplied by the Mayfield Village Police Department.

An injured deer was reported at 4 p.m. April 28 in a Joyce Road yard. The animal kept running away when approached and a resident was told to call back if the deer stopped.
Another injured deer was reported at 3:34 p.m. April 27 in a backyard on South Woodlane Drive. An officer put the animal down and the deer was placed in a grassy area for pickup.
A caller at 11:06 a.m. April 29 complained that a dog on Timberline Trail barks all day on Sundays and that the owners tie the dog up outside and leave it. Police said a family friend took the dog inside and was going to tell the owners about the complaint.
A Beta Drive hotel called at 6:11 p.m. April 27 about a man who has been coming in and stealing candy. He was in the lobby when the employee called, but left before police arrived.
