Police Blotter: Jewelry, Xbox Taken From Robley Lane House

Information supplied by the Mayfield Village Police Department.

A Robley Lane resident called at 8:01 a.m. Feb. 18 and said that someone broke a window on his car on Feb. 12. He realized that they must have used the garage door opener to get in the house because a drill, jewelry and an Xbox system were missing.

A suspicious man parked a car by a creek at 9:38 p.m. Feb. 19 on South Woodlane Drive. The man then walked up to the creek to look at it or put something in it. He then walked back to his car and to the creek again, a caller said. Police went to the scene and said the man was gone and the creek checked OK.

Police notified the service department at 8:22 p.m. Feb. 19 that problems were occurring because of a water main break at SOM Center and Wilson Mills Roads. At spots where water was being spread out, the road was becoming icy. A sewer was blocked and wasn't allowing water to drain.

A water main break was reported at 8:08 a.m. Feb. 19 at Ravine Drive and Robley Lane.

A woman came to police station at 5:15 p.m. Feb. 17 and said her car had been damaged by a large box that was on an Interstate 271 exit ramp.
