Police Blotter: Man Seeks Evidence of Improperly Marked Car

A man was trying to get into the service department to take pictures of a police car that he said was not properly marked at 12:24 p.m. June 11. He was told to leave.

A Marsol Road resident called police at 1:07 p.m. June 12 after someone left a note on his motorcycle saying it would be damaged if he didn't start parking in a parking space.

Four juveniles were picked up for violating curfew at 12:04 a.m. June 13 at Golden Gate Plaza. The mother of one of juveniles came to pick him up, while the others were taken home to Fruitland Avenue.

A fight was reported at 7:56 p.m. June 12 in an Iroquis Avenue front yard. Police talked to a woman who said she wanted her sister off of the property. Police told the sister to leave and risk arrest for trespassing if she returned.

A Woodhurst Avenue woman told police on June 12 that her adult daughter told her that her father was coming over, hitting her, taking money from her and threatening to kill her. She told her mother she was afraid to say anything. Police took a report for domestic violence.

A social worker said the family of a terminally ill patient at Hillcrest Hospital was trying to get him to sign over all of his assets at 4:09 p.m. June 12. Police said family members were apparently trying to avoid probate court and it was a civil matter.

A suitcase and PlayStation were reported stolen June 11 at a Marsol Road apartment. The victim suspected a roommate's ex-boyfriend was responsible.

A man called at 3:20 a.m. June 11 and wanted to talk to an officer because his car had been covered in plastic wrap while it was parked at a SOM Center Road restaurant.

The manager of CVS chased after a shoplifter at 9:39 p.m. June 9 on SOM Center Road. The suspect took off toward Marsol Road and was caught on Ridgeview. Police said the juvenile was charged with burglary, theft and resisting arrest.
