Police Blotter: Officers Catch Drivers With Suspended Licenses

An officer stopped to help a woman with a disabled car at 8:06 p.m. March 18 on Mayfield Road and found out her driver's license had been suspended. The 21-year-old Cleveland woman was cited for no driver's license and driving while under suspension.

An officer stopped a car for a license plate violation at 2:27 p.m. March 19 on Mayfield Road. The driver, a 39-year-old Cleveland woman, had a suspended driver's license. She was cited for failure to wear a seat belt, no driver’s license and driving while under suspension. Her car was towed and impounded pending a court hearing.

A Chagrin River Road woman called police at 11:18 a.m. March 17 about suspicious activity regarding a worker at her house. She did not want the worker to return. An officer told the man not to go back to the house.
