Police Blotter: Officers Sent to Family Dispute About Property

Information supplied by the Gates Mills Police Department.

A family dispute was reported at 11:54 a.m. Aug. 28 on Blackberry Lane. Police said the argument was about property owned by one of the family members and was a civil matter. All parties involved agreed to settle it amongst themselves.

A car went off the road and hit a tree at 1:33 a.m. Aug. 26 on Gates Mills Boulevard. The crash is under investigation.

An accident was reported at 3:49 p.m. Aug. 23 on Mayfield Road. There were no injuries in the three-car crash. One driver, a 59-year-old Cleveland man, was cited for making an improper lane change.

A possible theft in progress was reported at 12:19 p.m. Aug. 25 at St. Francis of Assisi Church. Officers spoke with the caller, a 77-year-old Mayfield Heights man, and said the man misplaced the item he thought might had been stolen.
