Police Blotter: Parents Called for Teens Out Late Making Noise

Someone in a Ford Fusion kept erratically honking the horn at 3:26 a.m. March 28 on Marnell Avenue. Police said the suspects were girls, ages 14 and 15, and their parents were called.

An Edgewood Road man reported at 9:57 p.m. March 27 that a nephew stole several items from his home.

A boy was caught going through lockers in the basement of an apartment building at 7:07 p.m. March 27 on Mayfield Road. He was arrested for criminal trespassing and released to a parent.

A Jackie Lane man reported March 27 that someone broke into his car overnight and took a computer and golf clubs.

A man on Hidden Woods Trail reported at 6:05 p.m. March 26 that cars were egged overnight on the last two Fridays.

A Crestwood Road man reported having problems with neighbors at 1:51 p.m. March 25. He said the neighbors, who are brothers, were threatening him with bodily harm. Police said the neighbors were blaming each other for causing a disturbance. Police told them to stay off of each other's properties or they would be arrested for trespassing.

A woman called police at 3:49 p.m. March 24 because she heard there was going to be a fight at Lander School the next day. Police said there was no school that day, but teachers were going to be on campus.

A West Miner Road resident said a suspicious man was going through a neighbor's garbage at 10:15 p.m. March 23. He said it happens every week.

An officer was out with a boy at 4:46 a.m. March 23 at Mayfield and Sunset roads and called his mother, who was not aware that he was not home. Police drove the boy home.

A caller said an 18-year-old woman was hitting windows and a door with a baseball bat at 2:35 p.m. March 21 on SOM Center Road. Police said there was a verbal argument between the woman and her mother and the daughter took some belongings and left the house for the day. Police said there was no damage to the house.
